Hi, I'm Abby Hodges — better known as Dr. Babby — a child psychologist, and the heart behind Dr. Babby's Books.
I earned my doctorate in Child, Family, and School Psychology from the University of Denver, and I've spent my career working alongside families of children with a wide range of needs — from early childhood inclusion programs to the Marcus Autism Center at Emory University School of Medicine.
I'm a licensed psychologist in Texas, Oklahoma, and Colorado, and a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). But more than any credential, I'm someone who deeply believes that every child deserves to feel understood — and that the right story, told in the right way, can change everything.
That's why I created Dr. Babby's Books. Each story is personalized, evidence-based, and written to meet your child exactly where they are. Because when kids see themselves in a story, they learn. And when they learn, they grow.
